Role background
Wolt is a Finnish technology company and we’re best known for our food delivery platform. Food delivery was just a start, and now we are exploring and expanding our platform with other business verticals in retail and grocery. We’ve grown significantly in the last years, expanding our operations to 25 countries across Europe and Asia today. And we’re just getting started.
The role you are looking at is a part of Wolt Market - our very own grocery stores that deliver a wide selection of products with world leading customer experience. People in Berlin can soon order their groceries and have them delivered to their doorstep at the highest convenience!
Wolt Market is growing rapidly and we have ambitious goals. We are looking for a strong Content Manager to manage our product assortment and own the User Experience of all Wolt Market venues in Croatia.
As a Wolt Market Content Manager you are responsible for creating, enhancing and activating the retail selection on the Wolt Market online catalogue. You will have an important role in ensuring a world class Customer Experience and driving conversion. Close collaboration with brand owners, suppliers and Content Managers from other countries will be key for success.
In this role, you’ll get a lot of help and support on the way, but are also expected to be an amazing independent Manager with an exceptional ability to execute every single day.
What you’ll be doing
- Catalogue:
- Own item creation, presentation and enhancement end-to-end, ensuring that the product data and content in your stores is accurate and helpful for our customers (e.g. product description, media content, food related information, best before dates).
- Identify ways to collect content from various sources, including contacting vendors (distributors/direct vendors/brandbank) to confirm product details in order to keep the catalogue up to date.
- Customer Experience:
- Responsible for the appearance of your stores, including the implementation of categories that will help our customers in discovering the products they need easily.
- Testing and implementing new ideas that will drive conversion.
- Offers & Campaigns: Together with Category Manager & Marketing develop and execute successful campaigns in partnership with brand owners and suppliers
- Analytical Expert:
- Create reporting tools to help identify and ultimately resolve catalogue errors. Analyzing all the available data, researching for missing information; finding the main pain-points and solving them in order to ensure the correct functioning of the customer journey.
- Identify key opportunities for Category & Inventory Management to improve our assortment and drive higher sales and conversion.
- Understand our customers’ needs, and translate them into meaningful feature requests and content improvements
- Passion for delivering great user experience, and developing new ideas, putting our customers’ needs first at all times .
- Strong experience in dealing with processes, and large amounts of data to be able to convert these into customer insight and actions to improve our users’ experience.
- Ability to dive deep into a problem, perform ‘Root Cause Analysis’ and identify constraints to recommend scalable solutions.
- Excellent data accuracy skills and a high attention to detail including precise and effective customer communication.
- Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
- Previous experience and understanding how to manage B2C e-commerce will be beneficial
- Excellent skills in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel) and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
- Audit certification and previous experience in data or system audit is a plus.
- Fluency in Croatian and English.
