Content Specialist (Amazon)
Position Overview
The Content Specialist for Amazon will be responsible for leading the day-to-day Amazon digital ops and activation while fostering positive internal and external relationships to drive mutually beneficial brand objectives and growth. The Amazon Content Specialist will bring the digital shelf to life, including retail set-ups, suggested content optimizations, new online content creation and marketing to help support the sales and ecommerce teams. He/she will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, digital merchandising teams, brand teams, buyers and planners.
Responsibilities
•Accountable for the customer experience, Best-in-class content and conversion on product detail pages
•Ensure Amazon is ready to sell a product, building A+ content, videos, reviews and PDP content, your network knows you are the go-to for best-in-class retail support
•Collaborate with creative and brand teams to ensure alignment and that needs are met, including communicating specific Amazon content needs and sharing best practices
•Maintain the catalog and PDPs including optimizing product titles, descriptions, images, video and A+ content
•Responsible for Amazon product detail page setups, ticketing, Vine Reviews, product page edits and optimizations and Andon cords
•Responsible for promotional planning and execution, including Prime Day execution and reporting
•Leverage information to build a business case for new content creation and selling in white-space ideas cross-functionally
•Manage & execute account set ups for all new product development and assortment changes for key accounts, including setup sheets & routing of visual content (gallery images, video, enhanced content)
•Primary project manager for execution of all elements needed to support Amazon SKUs including marketing content and digital content like landing pages, banners and other forms of retailer creative.
•Assist with ticket entry, including submitting & monitoring of tickets and escalation for unresolved tickets
•Manage Amazon brand store updates and refinements (brand page)
•Vine review kick off and tracking to ensure that all products launch reviews to help drive consumers through the purchase funnel
•Hold master calendar for tentpole and targeted promotions according to business goals and objectives
•Partner with teams to ensure clear understanding of inventory levels at each online retailer
•Collaborative with internal teams to share Amazon specific content best practices on an ongoing basis
•Monitor promotional activity for all relevant retail.coms and document for placements as well as competition
•Scrub Amazon daily to watch for content that has reverted to old versions, paid placements, search ranking, missing products, cross-merchandising opportunities and other potential revisions needed
•Closely monitor variated product detail pages to ensure ongoing accuracy
•Optimize copy to ensure we are right reaching the right consumers, at the right time, in the right place
•Analyze competitive and complimentary products to identify trends and opportunities.

Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in marketing, strategic sales or similar.
•2+ year retail, CPG, wholesale or DTC work experience
•Well-versed in SEO best practices and copywriting
•Ecommerce experience & strong familiarity with Amazon’s digital shelf
•Understanding of 3P model at Amazon and experience with brand registry
•Familiarity with Vendor Central a must
•Ability to work cross-functionally and throughout levels of the organization with ease
•Extensive experience managing multiple projects in parallel, navigating a complex cross-functional matrix
•Attention to detail- being able to coordinate all details to ensure accuracy and consistency across all consumer facing materials
•Ability to influence cross functionally and creative problem-solving skills
•Communicates clearly, highly organized with proven multitasking ability
