Entry level role with potential/intention for Junior agent development, responsible for supporting the day-to-day needs of Action Sports agent, clients and other client services team members to accomplish client related projects; support client relationships, internal-team relationships, and account operations during the development and execution of all client business affairs, including accounts receivable, marketing, PR, charitable, and social media. Provide high-level executive administrative support including organizing, scheduling, and coordinating administrative activities. Participates in new business development efforts such as recruitment and / or marketing material development. Under the direction of Agent, this position also prepares reports, presentations, and meeting agendas. Looking for a motivated and tenacious action /sports enthusiast. Must have basic understanding of board sports and action sports and a desire to become an agent.
This position will begin remote and will be based in Carlsbad, California or Los Angeles, California once offices reopen.
Responsibilities
- Supports day-to-day schedules of clients, client service team, and agent, which includes managing calendars, appointments, some light travel logistics, press requests and coordination, client social deliverables, and responding to email inquiries/DMs
- Builds sales materials/bios for clients
- Back-end management
- Work with agent and other client service representatives to ensure accurate and timely invoicing, both to clients and client partners
- Manages requests from agents regarding client needs.
- Serve as gatekeeper for incoming queries for executives; answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls ensuring a high level of professional customer service and confidentiality.
- Coordinate and prioritize Agents calendar; act as a liaison between clients and Agent.
- Schedules appointments, coordinate on and off-site meetings and special events
- Prepares invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements and other documents, using Word, Excel spreadsheets, or presentation software.
Job Expectations:
- 40 + hours a week learning basics including onboarding of new clients, building sales materials and delivering on sow’s/deliverables for brand partners.
- Developing talent and taking on Agent’s overflow
- Recruiting and pitching new clients
- Developing book of business under Agent’s mentorship
Requirements
- Full time position with potential for bonuses and commissions
- Bachelor’s degree (sports management, business administration, comm., or finance a plus).
- Must be customer service focused in order to provide the best possible support to clients and internal team members.
- Requires considerable flexibility in scheduling and the willingness to work nights and weekends.
- Understanding of streetwear, lifestyle culture, fashion and sport
- Willing to travel
- Basic PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, In-design capabilities; Mac Proficient
- Basic Contract Law or willingness to learn a must
- Understanding of social/digital media, including Slack
- Well-developed communication skills and ability to interact with people of all demographics.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
