The Senior Director of Americas Merchandising will act as the credible voice of Merchandising for the Wholesale channel and will champion the merchandising vision for Crocs across all channels for the Americas region. In partnership with SVP/GM and Channel leads, this role will help set the regional merchandising vision, strategy, and assortment plan for all Crocs product lines, and drives the regional go-to-market strategy. This role gets results which achieve brand and revenue goals, achieve sales growth and profit maximization, and align the region to the global Crocs brand with a strong consumer focus.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
•Oversee and drive alignment of the Wholesale Merchandising team with visibility for all merchandising functions as part of the seasonal go-to-market strategy.
•Responsible for the assortment and inventory plans from product launch to clearance.
•Establish market-right initial pricing recommendations, mark down cadence, and plan for and manage promotional activity within their region.
•Partner with the global team to inform and edit the product line to amplify powerful product stories and support new product launches by smartly planning product flow and lifecycle.
•Ensure consumer focus by utilizing consumer insights, being the voice for the consumer and driving engagement between merchandising and channel leads.
•Drive comprehension and analysis of in-season performance and play forward learnings into forward forecasts including price elasticity, collection and color trends, and SKU productivity.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
•Bachelor’s Degree
•7-10 years of progressive experience in merchandising, product creation and/or retail; footwear experience preferred
•Retail specific planning and/or wholesale merchandising experience required
•Proven track record of leading teams through change and transformation
•Proven leadership and people management skills
•Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a successful merchandising strategy
•Proven ability to synthesize information and clearly articulate an informed path forward
•Proven ability to manage an open to buy process, exceptional retail math skills
•Demonstrated experience and success with strategic planning and business planning
•Comfort working in a highly cross-functional matrix environment
•Knowledge of international fashion/trends with the ability to translate into commercial concepts
•Strong organizational, analytical and time management skills
•Exceptional oral and written communication skills
•Ability to travel as required
