CTO of Allure Systems

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Software development:
• You will be the referent person for our team of developers in collaboration with other leads from the group to ensure code delivery meeting company standards, manage sprints, releases and support;
• You will also manage and mentor 3 developers, enforce processes and coding standards following good practices of software craftsmanship;
• You will be able to reflect and design the software engineering and optimal user processes and experience including hardware control, third party applications, API, web apps and computer vision algorithms orchestration.


• Computer Vision:
• You will be the referent person for driving the tech vision;
• In collaboration with our Head of computer vision and the 3 team members, you will be receptive and proactive to technological watch in the field of computer vision and generative AI;
• You will contribute to reflections around cutting edge technologies adoption for the fashion industry and strategies to stay one step ahead of the market;
• Those techs will involve 2D generative imagery, human body parsing, 3D modeling and AR/VR experiences.


• R&D projects:
• You will be the technical referent, working closely with our CEO on R&D initiatives, ensuring projects are executed effectively, aligned with the Group strategy;
• You will be able to communicate complex problems to non-tech audiences;
• You will be driving innovation by exploring and testing new technologies;
• You will be the key to encourage a test and learn culture and to promote agility;
• You will cultivate an environment of innovation, creativity and performance, which answers a business objective;
• These R&D projects can include, among others, generative AI for imagery, synthetic models and 3D assets production.

WHO YOU ARE

• You have a strong experience in AI research and development or leading AI-driven projects, if possible in the field of image analysis and computer vision;
• You have a good understanding of computer vision and image processing tasks;
• You have a good understanding of ML Ops, data ingestion pipelines, model deployments;
• You have strong software design patterns skills;
• You have a complete understanding of components involved in web apps and HTTP Rest APIs;
• You have experience with Docker and Kubernetes;
• You have a good knowledge of Python and linux shell/bash, async application and event driven architecture;
• You have +5 years of experience as a software engineering role in a start-up, ideally related to computer vision or deep learning;
• You have an Engineering Master’s Degree in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or related field (preferred);
• You are fluent in English & French;
• You have great leadership and communication skills;
• You thrive in an agile and test driven development environment;
• You have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to translate complex tech concept for non-tech audience;
• You have the ability to plan capabilities and share realistic dev tasks effort estimates;
• You have the ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives;
• You thrive in a fast-paced environment, if you are able to learn quick and be a self starter.
