As an integral part of the sales team, TruEra Customer Data Scientists (Sales Engineers) get to do this every day as they help data science teams at leading companies realize the value of using TruEra.
Responsibilities
- Own all technical aspects of the pre-sales process including delivering product demonstrations, addressing technical questions, responding to RFPs, and executing product proof of concepts
- Leverage your machine learning experience and expert TruEra product knowledge to drive value with our prospects and customers
- Work closely with the Truera product management and engineering teams to align customer requirements to future versions and products
Qualifications
- Proficiency developing, troubleshooting and optimizing machine learning models in Python
- Experience with model packages/frameworks such as XGBoost, LightGBM, Scikit-learn, DataRobot, H20
- Experience with NLP and deep neural network frameworks such as TensorFlow and/or PyTorch
- Strong understanding of data science workflows and architectures
- Excellent organizational, communication, writing and interpersonal skills
- Ability to wear multiple hats with a “do whatever it takes” attitude
- Previous experience in a customer facing pre-sales role is a plus
- Masters degree or higher (or equivalent experience ) is preferred in the area of data science, computer science, statistics, or mathematics
