Customer Success Engineer (US - remote)

Role
You will make our most strategic customers successful, leading short to medium term engagements at our client location. You will focus on getting the product running, conducting architecture and use case reviews, sizing and tuning StreamSets products. This team solves real-world problems related to data ingestion, data drift and data movement.
Location: USA (remote)
Responsibilities
- Retain revenue and drive account expansion through renewals for a portfolio of customers
- Manage all technical aspects of the post-sales process
- Work with the Customer Support team to prioritize and track progress on technical issues.
- Align with the sales team on renewals and upsell/cross goals
- Ensure all communication and activities with the assigned customers are documented in CRM and Customer Success Platform
- Conduct Health Checks to ensure product adoption and product usage
- Conduct QBR's to an executive and technical audience with interests in Data Warehousing and Analytics topics.
Skills
- Write and analyse SQL, Java and Python code
- Containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and automation (Ansible, Terraform)
- Snowflake, Databricks, and On-premise Data Warehouse vendors
Experience
- 4+ years relevant experience in software consulting or software account management
- Experience with platforms and tools for large-scale data processing (HDFS, HBase, Hive, Spark, SOLR, among others)
- Experience with large-scale cloud-based infrastructure-as-a-service platforms (Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, OpenStack)
- Experience with Data Warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT implementations
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
The target range for this job is $125,000 to $250,000. The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and competencies.
