Data Engineer
About the Team
We’re rethinking the way AB InBev does business with its retail customers and creating digital experiences to serve them. You will be joining a new digital organization within AB InBev consisting of digital strategy, product, design, analytics, operations and engineering. This organization is responsible for building the products and platforms that transform our traditional sales operations across the world.
You Will:
Develop stable and robust pipelines using python, spark and cloud solutions;
Support the architecture evolution of data management platforms, leading architecture designs when necessary;
Discuss business requirements and design data solutions to support their analytical and business automation needs;
Implement data security initiatives, focusing on business continuity and customer data protection.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science or related
- 3+ years practical experience with data management / data integration / analytics projects in real- world
- Experience using Python and Spark and parallel processing.
- Strong skills in database management, modeling, querying and ETL
- Clear understanding of modern data stores architectures and concepts of structured and unstructured data
- Results orientated, curious, attention to detail, and a strong
- Excellent analytical thinking skills. We expect our team members to learn quickly and handle a number of challenges, wherever they are needed within the
- Interest in our industry and its evolution. This includes someone who is interested in solving new customer problems, the development of processes, and discovering new markets
