We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join Elastic's growing Enterprise Data Management team. Our team's primary mission is to enable the availability and reliability of data across the enterprise to support Elastic’s strategic objectives by driving how data is defined, consumed, delivered, and governed.

What You Will be Doing
- Design, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based systems, including large-scale data processing to support advanced analytics
- Responsible for data storage and process function availability in accordance with cloud security best practices
- Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements
- Collaborate cross-functionally to evaluate and identify efficient cloud solutions
- Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training when necessary
What You Bring Along
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on GCP platforms
- 2+ years of experience with DevOps, dbt, and Terraform
- GCP Associate Cloud Engineer certification or higher or equivalent experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of business analysts, developers, software engineers, data scientists, and subject-matter experts
- General knowledge of Git, Jira, SQL, Docker, and Kubernetes. Python knowledge is a plus.
