What you’ll be doing
As one of Envato’s Delivery Coaches, you’ll work as a member of multiple teams, facilitating and guiding delivery activities, helping teams to track progress while encouraging improvement through self-organisation. You’ll support these teams, keeping them moving and growing, helping them to understand their work and navigate toward their goals.
To be successful in this role, you will have worked in a cross-functional agile software development team in any capacity. If you’ve had experience as a Delivery Lead or a Scrum master, this would be a bonus. You’ll be excited about facilitating and attending activities related to team delivery and improvement (backlog grooming, sprint planning, stand ups, retrospectives etc), guiding teams toward collaboration and group creativity. Carrying a truly agile mindset, in this role you’ll contribute to the development of an inclusive, creative, adaptive development environment whilst living and breathing Envato’s Values.
What we’re looking for
- Strong experience working with or in agile software development teams in any capacity. This role will be non-technical, the caretaker of agile practices as a participating member of one or more Envato teams.
- Well developed, proven and effective coaching, team building and group facilitation skills are essential, ideally at least 3 years experience across all of these.
- Excellent communication skills (bi-directional!)
- Excellent knowledge of agile principles and practices (specific framework expertise not important, we believe in non-prescriptive agile adoption).
- Excellent planning skills and experience, naturally capable of seeing dependencies and driving others to deliver, while maintaining great relationships - a diplomat yet a driver of great outcomes.
