Demand & Supply Planning Manager
We have a new opportunity within Supply Chain for a Demand & Supply Planning Manager to join our Demand & Supply Planning team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for planning network capacity and driving forecasting improvements. You’ll be working closely with technology to drive innovation in the demand and planning space to become world-class.
We interact with multiple parts of the business, including; trading, marketing, operations, technology and menu planning daily.
You’ll be a key part in ensuring our customers receive their orders on time and in full whilst optimising for costs, by using automation, data science, insights and analytics.

Core Responsibilities
Chairing daily meetings to review demand and multisite capacity
Monitoring and reporting on relevant KPIs weekly.
Conduct deep dives and RCAs to drive improvement in key metrics using for example SQL, BI tools
Planning disruptive weeks (i.e bank holidays), coordinating with key stakeholders to reduce OTIF and food waste
Utilising data analytics and customer behaviour insights to facilitate accurate demand forecasts taking into account seasonality and trends
Leading bi-monthly forecast forum, by collaborating with marketing, fulfilment, supply chain, logistics, and technology, to drive improvements in forecasting
Supporting regular S&OP meetings with relevant stakeholders to review performance, discuss demand-supply gaps, and align on corrective actions
Continuously seeking opportunities to optimise the S&OP process to optimise customer experience and costs
Evolving existing demand and supply processes to support the delivery of propositions
Working closely with technology to evolve data products to support the long-term strategy of Gousto
Driving innovation in the demand and supply planning space by for example anticipating disruptions using external data, measuring production more precisely
Who You Are
Experience in planning e.g. demand and supply / supply-chain / logistics
Results-driven, constantly wanting to improve processes and outcomes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders
Excellent attention to detail, flexibility and problem-solving
Quick-thinker and learner and responds positively to rapidly changing environments
Financial awareness
A high level of computer literacy – in particular, Excel, Google sheets, doc, slides
Ability to work under pressure in volatile periods and meet deadlines
Leadership skills, keen to develop, educate and drive change from within
Have excellent organisational skills, as a confident, collaborative and forward-thinking team player
Ability to work by yourself and as part of a team
