Developer Portal & Community Manager
TLDR
Own and evolve the Developer Portal, turning internal engineering activity into clear public docs and bridging engineering teams with a global developer community.
- Own, structure, and continuously improve the Developer Portal, ensuring it remains accurate, organized, and useful for external contributors and developers.
- Translate internal engineering discussions, technical updates, and product changes into clear, accessible public documentation.
- Maintain and organize wiki pages, GitHub repositories, and developer-facing resources across multiple sub-projects.
- Participate in engineering discussions and team calls to stay aligned with ongoing development work and product direction.
- Moderate community contributions, discussions, issues, and pull requests to ensure quality, relevance, and constructive collaboration.
- Collect and synthesize feedback from the developer community and relay meaningful insights back to internal teams.
- Ensure communication within the community remains structured, productive, and aligned with project goals.
- Help developers understand how to navigate the portal, contribute effectively, and engage with the ecosystem.
- Excellent written communication skills with a proven ability to produce clear technical documentation, guides, or README-style content.
- Solid understanding of software development workflows, including Git, branches, commits, and pull requests.
- Ability to break down complex technical concepts into simple, structured explanations, supported by diagrams or flowcharts where needed.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to extract key insights from technical discussions.
- Comfortable working closely with engineers and engaging in technical conversations across hardware and software domains.
- Ability to distinguish valuable feedback from noise and maintain focus on high-quality contributions and discussions.
- Strong organizational mindset, with a focus on structure, clarity, and information architecture.
- Genuine interest in developer tools, hardware products, open-source ecosystems, and build-in-public development culture.
- Fluency in both English and Russian for cross-team and community communication.
- Experience or familiarity with DevRel, technical writing, community management, or developer portals is a strong advantage.
