The Development Tools  team’s mission is to develop the development environment for the Automated Driving (AD) / Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). The Development Tools team is aiming for developing a unified AD/ADAS development environment including CI/CD environment, software test environment and so on, achieving improving  development efficiency through the environment and being recognized as the world's best AD/ADAS software developer.

To make this project succeed, we have to develop and operate the environment for a lot of developers while acquiring requirements from the developers.

We are looking for a software engineer who can contribute to the construction of the CI/CD environment for AD/ADAS developers to develop AD/ADAS applications quickly and safely and release it daily. This will require the development and verification environment to be developed using a combination of various infrastructures and tools. You can engage with stakeholders and improve our environment by getting feedback from them.

・Design the strategy and the system structure for CI/CD 

・Build and operate CI/CD pipelines for the AD/ADAS (Examples are below)

　　　・Automatic execution of test plan in software development process

　　　・Visualize and analyze CI/CD results for developers 

・Develop tools to support software development and evaluation efficiently

・Collaborate with stakeholders in cross-functional teams and cross-company teams  to introduce our development environment

・Practical experience in CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins/Tekton/GitHub Actions)

・Practical experience in software design for high-maintainability defined in ISO 9126 (e.g. Object-oriented analysis and design,  Design pattern, Readable code)

・5+ years of experience in automotive or embedded products.

・5+ years of programming experience (e.g. C/C++/Python/JavaScript)

・Written and verbal communication skills with business level in English or Japanese, and at least ordinary  conversation level in Japanese (equivalent to JLPT-N3). 

・Experience in developing products with Scrum development style.

・Experience in developing containers to encapsulate tools and environments for CI/CD pipelines and managing the containers (e.g. Docker)

・Experience in developing a system that scales computer resources on cloud services to CI/CD request (e.g. AWS/GCP/Azure/Kubernetes)

・Experience software testing

　　　・Skills on test framework (e.g. xUnit/gtest)

　　　・Knowledge in ISTQB/JSTQB (Foundation Level)
