Responsibilities
•
• Quickly master our tools and libraries for service development, infrastructure provisioning, CI/CD, and monitoring .
• Development of automation for monitoring and deployment in AWS and private cloud
• Development, creation, and testing of automation scripts
• Initiate and lead scripting and automation to streamline system updates and upgrades
• Work with cloud operations team to resolve trouble tickets, developing and running scripts, creating jobs, and troubleshooting hosted environments
• Evaluate new features from the perspective of our internal users
• Learn new technologies and design/implement new solutions to automate application deployments, infrastructure build-outs, and monitoring improvements and new features, or fixing bugs.
• Contribute to product development / engineering as needed to ensure Quality of Service of Highly Available services
• Works well independently and with minimal supervision
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math or equivalent.
- Fluency with at least one current generation scripting language (Python, Perl, PowerShell)
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery concepts, including Infrastructure as code utilizing tools like Terraform, CloudFormation and Puppet/Chef/Ansible
- Knowledge of operating on AWS & it's services or equivalent cloud technology (Azure, GCP )
- Understanding/Systematic problem-solving approach spanning code, systems, and network theory & protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP) ability to read a packet capture/tcpdump, etc.
- Knowledge of both Windows (2k8R2+) and Linux (centos) + Security triage & forensic analysis
- Experience with elastically scalable, fault tolerance and other cloud architecture patterns
- NoSQL/Docker/Micro-services/Forensic-Analysis experience is a big plus.
