We at Cloud Telephony team* are on a mission to enable AI-powered communication solutions for consumers and businesses through the Truecaller platform. The team will focus on creating cutting-edge cloud telephony solutions for consumers. The features the team will develop will affect the experience of hundreds of millions of users around the world directly, and will improve their daily interaction with their phone.

As a DevOps Engineer in the team,  you will be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues and implementing integrations that meet our customers' needs and play a key role in assuring and improving our product quality, ensuring that we are giving a world class experience to our users.

Your responsibilities include taking the ownership of planning and maintaining our testing processes and structures, as well as leading the test automation activities in the team. You will be part of a cross-functional team and work closely with the whole development team, fellow Test Engineers, and Product Owners.

What do we expect from you:

• +4 years of experience in managing Linux based infrastructure
• +3 years of hands-on experience at least in one scripting language
• +3 years of hands-on experience with databases including MySQL, Mongo and Elasticsearch
• Advanced knowledge of programming languages such as Node.js and Golang, and writing code and scripts.
• Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Ability to install and configure software, gather test-stage data, and perform debugging.
• Ability to ensure smooth software deployment by writing script updates and running diagnostics.
• Proficiency in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.
• Good time-management skills
• Interpersonal and communication skills

What will you work on:

• Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
• Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers
• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
• Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results
• Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
• Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’
• Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
• Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions

It would be great if you also have:

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology, information systems, or similar.
• Experience in VoIP applications.
• A knack for performance and optimization
