As a DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer - Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between development, operations, and security to facilitate seamless and secure application and software development. Within our Technology Consulting practice, you will focus on integrating industry-leading practices to validate secure, consistent, and efficient delivery of software and applications. This role is client-facing, allowing you to build meaningful client connections and develop a deeper understanding of business contexts.

As a Senior Associate, you will leverage your skills to analyze complex problems and mentor others, maintaining professional and technical standards. You will be expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality solutions while navigating increasingly complex situations. Embracing ambiguity, you will use these moments as opportunities to grow, asking questions and using critical thinking to break down complex concepts. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Mexico, you will focus on designing and implementing robust, secure IT systems that support business operations, optimizing performance and minimizing downtime.

Responsibilities

- Designing and implementing secure IT systems to support business operations and minimize downtime
- Integrating development, operations, and security practices to enhance software delivery
- Bridging the gap between development and operations teams for seamless application deployment
- Utilizing Azure DevOps Server and AWS CloudFormation for efficient project management and deployment
- Managing security infrastructure implementation and troubleshooting to maintain system integrity
- Conducting vulnerability assessments and incident remediation to address potential threats
- Employing tools like Ansible and Terraform for software provisioning and configuration management
- Collaborating with clients to build meaningful connections and anticipate their needs
- Applying critical thinking to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions
- Mentoring junior team members to foster growth and technical skills development
- Upholding professional and technical standards in line with firm guidelines and independence requirements

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 3-5 years of experience of DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering experience and SRE.

- Experience supporting enterprise-scale Azure environments.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD platforms.

- Experience Kubernetes (AKS), Docker and Containerization and Terraform
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

- Managing continuous integration and deployment using Jenkins and GitLab

- Interpreting data to inform strategic insights and recommendations
