DevOps & Tools Engineer
TLDR
Build and optimize DevOps tooling and processes to automate development, enforce security controls, and monitor system performance.

Position: DevOps & Tools Engineer
Compensation: $115K - $125K + Bonus of $20K-$25K
Location: Camas, WA or Plano, TX or Tampa, FL - ON SITE first 90 days and then 1 day a week WFH
Work Authorization: USC or GC ONLY no other visas will be considered
Education: Bachelor's degree in MIS, computer science, math, or other science field required, advanced degree in a related field
Experience 4 Years:
- Prefer coming from a AppDev background since they need to understand the entire DevOps pipeline and must be a DevOps role today not just having done DevOps
- GitHub - Jenkins - PowerShell scripting
- Ansible usage not just familiar
- Prefer some Terraform, but not required
- Artifactory a must
Responsibilities:
- Work with DevOps and Tools and Application Development Team Lead to define application and integration development processes
- Configure and support cloud based Atlassian tools
- Develop tooling and processes to increase automation of development and adherence to security and audit systems and controls
- Implement strategies for improving or further leveraging DevOps processes and tools
- Monitor system availability and performance within agreed upon timelines
- Resolve issues, alerts, and incidents based on predefined service level agreements
