Clair is looking for a funnel-obsessed, strategic, passionate, and creative Director, B2B Marketing to lead our efforts to become the preferred fintech partner of modern HR tech and gig platforms. In this role, you will be the primary orchestrator of Clair’s end-to-end marketing strategy, helping Clair to become the preeminent brand in an emerging space. Reporting directly to Clair’s Head of Growth, you will be a thought partner to our business development and strategic alliances (similar to sales) teams.
As our first B2B marketing leader, you will not only be building a broad base of marketing strategies, but you will also be responsible for building a team of freelancers, agencies, and eventually, full-time employees, who can execute under your supervision. In this regard, successful candidates will have broad experiences in content, live events, LinkedIn ads, SEO, as well as account-based marketing strategies. Our ideal candidate is passionate about building, dares to take creative risks, , and, most importantly, is driven by our mission of wanting to make America’s workers financially free.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define Clair’s B2B marketing strategy and oversee successful planning and execution of marketing initiatives
- Build awareness of both Clair’s brand and the broader on-demand space to a specific target audience of professionals in the HR tech and gig industries
- Set up and execute a breadth of marketing initiatives, including content marketing, LinkedIn advertising, account-based marketing, and others
- Develop and execute integrated marketing programs to generate qualified leads in support of Clair’s pipeline and partnership objectives
- Lead and grow a team of young and driven marketing professionals
Required Skills & Experience
- At least 7 years of marketing experience with prior success with early stage B2B marketing
- At least 3 years of hands-on, strategic, and tactical experience in B2B enterprise software / SaaS solutions or hands on experience in fintech, gig, or HR tech,
- Experience leading and managing a marketing team of direct reports
- Broad creative leadership experience, with an ability to work with agencies to deliver innovative work
- Strong grasp of data and analytics; you should be able to look at charts and quickly draw conclusions and generate hypotheses from them
