NBG Home is looking for a dynamic, engaging, well-rounded leader with a Supply Chain Execution systems background to join our technology team as Director of IT Supply Chain Execution Solutions. Reporting to the CTO, this position will be responsible for driving the digital transformation of our distribution & transporation network. NBG Home is embarking on an aggressive multi-year strategy to optimize and align our distribution capabilities with the transformation that is occurring across our industry.  This initiative aims to drive scale, operational excellence, and efficiency to position NBG Home as the leader in the Affordable Home Décor market.  

Key Responsibilities

This position directs the Supply Chain Execution Systems function as part of the Information Technology (IT) organization. Providing strategic & functional leadership for our distribution center & transportation planning technology platforms.

• Oversee the rollout of the Manhattan Associates – MAWM solution across our DC Network
• Establish the enterprise architecture components related to the Supply Chain Execution portfolio of applications.
• Engage key stakeholders in defining the roadmap
• Direct and manage the multi-disciplined IT & Distribution team
• Design and implement solutions to ensure business SLAs are achieved
• Establish proactive monitoring capability to ensure responsive alerting & response across the portfolio
• Engage, manage, and own key vendor relationships
• Prepare and track compliance to annual budget and quarterly forecast

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in computer science or business information systems
• Demonstrated experience in managing large complex Supply Chain Execution systems
• Knowledge of enterprise-level applications, including ERP, Business Analytics deployments
• Leadership experience directing, leading, and mentoring IT professionals
• Business acumen and analytical capabilities; ability to use data-driven insights to make decisions and evaluate risks and opportunities.

• The ability to lead by example and work alongside the team, in addition to providing work direction and guidance"
• 3+ years’ experience at a Director level position in a IT organization
• Experience implementing SAAS & Cloud Native Applications
• Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to ask probing questions, lead cross-functional meetings and provide clear status reports to both technical and non-technical team members and executives
• Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills, ability to identify problems, gather facts, analyze potential risks and impacts, and choose or propose a solution
• Thorough understanding of application development life cycle and large-scale software implementation methodologies
