About Gantri is building the digital manufacturer for design. We combine software, advanced materials, and local digital factories to produce high-design lighting and furniture on demand. Our mission is to unlock creativity at scale while building a cleaner, more responsive manufacturing system. We are entering a defining moment: the launch of Gantri Wireless — a new category of battery-powered, design-forward lighting powered by our proprietary Gantri Helia technology. At the same time, we are scaling Gantri Made, our manufacturing platform for brands and trade partners. We believe design companies of the future will win not just through products, but through story, systems, and cultural relevance. This role will shape how Gantri reaches the world.   Role We are hiring a Director of Marketing to define and scale Gantri’s market presence as we evolve from a design-led DTC company into the digital manufacturer for design. This role sits at the intersection of brand strategy, integrated marketing, storytelling, and execution. You will shape the narrative, orchestrate launches, direct agencies and partners, and build the systems that translate attention into awareness, momentum, and long-term brand equity. This is not a pure creative role, growth role, or project management role. We are looking for someone who combines art and operations — someone with the taste to define how the story should be told and the operating discipline to ensure it shows up consistently across channels. You will work closely with Product, Sales, Creative, and external partners to make Gantri feel coherent, premium, and culturally relevant. This role reports directly to the CEO. Responsibilities

Brand positioning & narrative

  • Define and evolve Gantri’s positioning as we scale Gantri Made and launch Gantri Wireless
  • Build a clear messaging architecture across:
  • Consumer
  • Trade / specification
  • Brand partners
  • Translate technology and manufacturing innovation into emotionally resonant stories
  • Create repeatable brand systems and messaging frameworks
  • Integrated marketing leadership

  • Own Gantri’s integrated marketing strategy across content, social, partnerships, web, launches, and agency execution
  • Ensure all channels reinforce a unified narrative
  • Define marketing operating rhythms and campaign systems
  • Build brand momentum through consistency, sequencing, and execution quality
  • Establish KPIs across both brand and business outcomes
  • Launches & Market Activation

  • Lead brand and go-to-market strategy for launches and strategic initiatives
  • Partner with Creative and Product to create launch narratives and experiences
  • Build repeatable frameworks for launches, drops, partnerships, and campaign moments
  • Ensure launches feel premium, intentional, and culturally relevant
  • Partnerships, influence & cultural relevance

  • Develop partnerships with designers, collaborators, and tastemakers
  • Shape Gantri’s presence across design events, trade shows, and industry moments
  • Direct PR strategy and thought leadership efforts
  • Guide influencer strategy to maintain consistency across channels
  • Agency & Cross-functional leadership

  • Lead and direct agency partners across performance, PR, and creative
  • Translate strategy into briefs, campaigns, and execution plans
  • Partner closely with:
  • Creative Director
  • Sales
  • Product
  • Agency partners
  • Ensure all customer and partner touchpoints reinforce a shared story
  • Requirements
  • 8–12+ years across brand marketing, integrated marketing, brand strategy, creative strategy, or related disciplines
  • Experience either:
  • Building and scaling a design-forward consumer brand, OR
  • Leading brand strategy / integrated marketing work at a top-tier agency (Red Antler, Collins, Instrument, Wolff Olins, Partners & Spade, Basic/DEPT, Huge, Decade, Playlab, Manual, etc.) with meaningful ownership
  • Strong preference for candidates who combine agency and in-house experience
  • Proven track record helping brands grow through periods of change or category expansion
  • Experience leading launches and integrated campaigns across multiple channels
  • Experience managing and directing external agencies and partners
  • Strong strategic thinking and positioning ability
  • Strong creative judgment and high standards for execution
  • Ability to connect storytelling with measurable outcomes
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity and building systems from scratch
  • Strong operator with bias toward shipping
  • Comfortable in founder-led environments
  • Experience with physical products preferred
