Coyuchi is a multi-channel retailer with a robust wholesale business and direct-to-consumer channels that include Coyuchi.com, Coyuchi at Point Reyes and The Coyuchi Shop at ABC Home in New York City.
The Role
The Director of Retail and Wholesale Sales is responsible for developing and implementing a business strategy for growing a multi-channel business through direct and indirect client contact. The role will be responsible for generating revenue with in-house sales team and manage critical sales processes and metrics with internal staff.
Things You’ll Do
- Manage multiple retail and wholesale sales channels to drive aggressive sales growth
- Capitalize on existing customer base and work to increase revenue and improve the level of service
- Prospect for new accounts and initiate key partnerships
- Understand and optimize the utilization of customer service systems such as Zen desk and Epicor
- Work with Marketing team to develop relevant marketing materials to on-board, educate and prospect for new and existing accounts
- Manage in-house sales team members and provide support for all aspects of the sales process
- Initiate, coordinate and attend Coyuchi sales events in conjunction with the Marketing team
- Travel as needed to present to Key Accounts and/or Trade Shows
- Provide reports and feedback to the CEO as needed
- Provide product and client feedback to Product Development and Merchandising teams

Qualifications

- Proven ability for developing effective sales and merchandising strategies
- Excellent communication and high-level presentation skills
- Minimum 10 years sales experience, preferably in consumer goods
- Minimum 2 years Sales management experience
- Experience managing key accounts
- Retail and Trade Show experience
