What You’ll Do:
- Impact Sapphire portfolio companies with highly relevant advisory and benchmarks to support them on their growth journey
- Responsible for developing and growing the Sapphire network of revenue leaders. This will be a mixture of portfolio company and non-portfolio company subject matter experts that will comprise an engaged community of operators.
- Engage and drive value to our community of leaders through a mixture of curated in-person and virtual events meant to drive network and share best practices.
- Serve as Sapphire Ventures’ thought leader for high-growth startups. The ideal candidate will pursue speaking opportunities, author blogs, build playbooks and broadcast the function’s work to establish Sapphire as a leading voice on scaling revenue.
- Develop new engagement mechanisms (such as unique events, insights, content, research, etc.) to foster and grow our Sales excellence practitioner network and expertise.
What We’re Looking For:
- 6+ years serving in a revenue operations, revenue strategy, or sales capacity in a hyper-growth tech company. Prior startup experience is strongly preferred.
- Ability to engage C-level executives with confidence and authenticity, and lead a dialogue around startups, venture capital, and revenue excellence trends and playbooks
- Highly entrepreneurial and independent achiever, who can work effectively as part of a small but highly fast-paced and dynamic organization
- Passion to make an impact in the success of startups, and aware of how high-growth VC-backed companies operate and success
- Experience interfacing with CROs and revenue leaders in tech
