Director Software Engineering - R&D

We’re looking for a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineering Leader to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving our software development efforts, leading a team of talented engineers and shaping the future of our technology stack. Our team is focused on delivering an Angular based web client framework and a set of development tools.

As a member of the product area’s leadership team you will take active part in driving and delivering on the vision of the product area, aligning with the overall company vision and mission. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire a team of talented software engineers to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Recruit and onboard new coworkers, perform appraisals and set salaries.
• Collaborate with product managers, program managers and other stakeholders to define project requirements and priorities.
• Provide knowledge and insight in DevOps and Agile practices.
• Lead efforts to optimize and scale our software development infrastructure for improved performance and reliability.
