Director, Supply Chain (San Diego)

This is a remote role based in San Diego.
As we are scaling and growing, we are searching for a Director, Supply Chain. You will collaborate with CM factories, 3PL partners, and suppliers to create and manage production plans, ensuring Oura’s product availability.
As a Director of Supply Chain (Department Lead), you will create and implement plans involving all aspects of the Supply Chain, including demand planning, managing the cost of goods sold, production planning, and manufacturing execution. Throughout the product lifecycle, from new product introduction to prototyping, production ramp-ups, and end-of-life planning.
You will feel equally comfortable leading from the front on the factory floor as you are in the planning and managing
What You will do:
- Define project scope and objectives supporting the company strategy and business requirements within the Supply Chain area.
- Prepare the business case and budget and develop the detailed project schedule, deliverables, and work plan.
- Take ownership of leading the Supply Chain program implementation with cross-functional teams and external partners. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope and budget.
- Contribute to demand planning. Create and execute Supply Chain plans, ensuring flawless product deliveries.
- Manage the cost of goods sold within the Supply Chain.
- Manage all aspects of continuous product delivery, capacity, forecasting, lead times, change management, and continuous improvement.
- Create and manage vendor contracts, pricing, and relationships.
- This role has people management functions.
Requirements
- 9+ years of solid experience across all Supply Chain functions and activities during the product life cycle. Especially in the contract manufacturing area, managing the prototyping, ramp-ups, and continuous manufacturing.
- Good communication and presentation skills – proven track record creating and communicating business cases, project plans, progress reports, and executive summaries.
- Strong experience in Managing the finances within Supply Chain.
- You work collaboratively and effectively in complex environments and with cross-functional teams, external parties, and factories.
- Willingness to travel and flexibility to attend regular meetings outside the office.

Oura takes a market-based approach to pay, which may vary depending on your location. US locations are categorized into tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. While most offers will be closer to the starting range, successful candidates’ pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal peer equity, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

- Region 3 $172,000 - $180,000
- Region 4 $162,500 - $170,000
