Dispatch Clerk - Entry Level
The Dispatch Clerk is responsible for assisting in the management of all raw materials and finished product, and ensuring that all products are delivered in a safe and efficient manner.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with the scheduling of all Route Salesmen and their daily activities
- Schedule inbound and outbound freight loads
- Prepare, audit, and submit payroll according to company policy
- Ensure that all vehicle maintenance is kept on schedule
- Work with suppliers to negotiate shipping costs to ensure maximum savings
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, dealers, and customers
- Track employee attendance, performance, and development
- Submit daily reports and weekly schedules
- Any other duty deemed necessary by Logistics Manager
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Drivers License or ID
