YOUR ROLE

As a DMS Project Manager on our team, you’ll drive day to day activities for Volvo Truck products.

In your daily job you will:

• Coordinate cross functional teams to ensure successful execution of product development projects from planning through launch.

• Manage project schedules, milestones, deliverables and action plans while maintaining alignment with customer expectations and business objective.

• Monitor project risks, dependencies and open issues. Driving mitigation actions and timely escalations when required.

• Facilitate effective communication between engineering, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, and other supporting functions.

• Lead regular project reviews, status meetings, and stakeholder updates to ensure transparency and alignment

• Support project budgeting, resource planning, and cost monitoring activities throughout the project lifecycle.

• Build strong relationships with customer representatives and internal stakeholders to support successful project delivery.

YOUR BACKGROUND

Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:

• Proficiency in Project Management.

• +3 years of experience. SW and/or automotive background will be an advantage.

• Fluent English Language skills.

• Demonstrated ability to drive complex projects with multiregional teams both Customer and Internal.

• Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and manage competing project demands in a dynamic environment.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.

• Experience in risk management, issue resolution and proactive problem-solving.

• Ability to analyze project data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.

• Strong planning, organizational and follow-up skills with attention to details.
