Electrical Engineer – Production & Test - 1st Shift

Join a team developing and supporting advanced electronic systems used in aerospace and defense applications. As an Electrical Engineer – Production & Test, you'll play a key role in ensuring complex hardware performs reliably and moves efficiently through production.
This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, problem-solving, and working closely with manufacturing, quality, test, and supplier teams to improve product performance and production success.
Your work will directly impact product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and mission readiness.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues on complex electronic assemblies and subsystems
- Test and debug digital, analog, RF, and mixed-signal hardware using industry-standard lab equipment
- Investigate hardware failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Support production and test operations by reducing recurring issues and improving product yield
- Review schematics, PCB layouts, and bills of materials to support failure analysis and troubleshooting efforts
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, test, and supplier teams to resolve technical challenges
- Create and maintain technical documentation, discrepancy reports, engineering changes, and redline updates
- Analyze production data and defect trends to identify opportunities for process improvement
- Support supplier technical investigations and corrective action activities
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts that enhance product quality and manufacturing performance
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- 3+ years of experience supporting, testing, troubleshooting, or developing electronic hardware
- Experience working with digital, analog, RF, or mixed-signal electronics
- Hands-on experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators, power supplies, or similar test equipment
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and bills of materials
- Experience performing root-cause analysis and resolving technical issues
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work onsite in Tucson, Arizona
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one
Preferred Experience
- Production, manufacturing, or test engineering experience
- Failure analysis, yield improvement, or continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience supporting supplier technical issue resolution
- Familiarity with subsystem or system-level integration and testing
- Experience with engineering change orders (ECOs), configuration management, and technical documentation
- Exposure to circuit design, hardware development, or electro-mechanical systems
- Aerospace, defense, automotive, medical device, or other high-reliability industry experience
- Familiarity with RF and mixed-signal test methods
- Experience with engineering tools such as MATLAB, LabVIEW, or similar analysis and measurement platforms
