JOB TITLE: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

LOCATIONS: Victoria Centre, Nottingham

SHIFT PATTERN: Mon-Fri, 40 hours per week. 1 in 4 weekends

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE

Carry out and complete PPM tasks and reactive breakdown works around site. The role will not be purely electrical works, and the successful candidate will need to be able to work within a maintenance team and support other trades which may include fabric, joinery, and plumbing tasks. 

The hours of work are as follows,: Monday – Friday rota covering an 8 Hrs shift  

Also cover of 1 weekend in 4. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

PPM duties include but are not limited to Emergency light testing, Electrical Switch room and Panel inspections, Generator testing, weekly sprinkler test & L8 water checks, pump repairs. 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

·       18th Edition Electrical  

·       Good practical and technical skills

·       Good Communication skills

·       An understanding of engineering systems, drawings, and principles

·       The ability to manage a varied workload

·       Good problem-solving skills

Desirable:

·       Electrical Inspection and Testing C&G 2391

·       L8 Water

·       F-Gas Cat 1
