Job summary:

Join our Risk team and help shape the organisation’s understanding of future risks. We’re looking for a detail‑driven, curious, and forward‑thinking Risk Analyst to support our company‑wide approach to emerging risk identification and strategic risk intelligence. In this role, you’ll monitor trends, analyse data from a range of sources, and provide insights that help guide decision‑making at all levels of the organisation. If you’re passionate about turning information into actionable risk insights, and you thrive in a fast‑moving, analytical environment - we’d love to hear from you.


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitoring internal and external data sources to identify new and emerging risks.
  • Analysing trends, horizon‑scanning reports, and open‑source intelligence to spot potential impacts on the organisation.
  • Producing quarterly emerging risk reports, including recommendations on risk prioritisation and response.
  • Conducting an annual refresh of the organisation’s emerging risk landscape, recommending additions, removals, and updated risk responses.
  • Summarising complex information clearly for stakeholders across Business Units.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues specialising in intelligence, risk, and reporting to strengthen our risk insights.


Essential Experience & Skills

  • Degree in Risk Management, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related degree
  • Proven experience in risk analysis, intelligence analysis, business analysis, or a similar analytical role.
  • Experience using emerging risk monitoring tools, horizon‑scanning platforms, or intelligence databases.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Experience applying risk assessment techniques, including velocity, likelihood, and consequence frameworks.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, concise risk summaries and structured reports.
  • Strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving capability with a proactive, investigative mindset.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to quarterly and annual reporting deadlines.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools or platforms (e.g., Excel, Power BI, internal intelligence systems).
