End User Support Technician (IT Desktop Engineer)
TLDR
Provide daily IT support, manage workstations, user accounts, and security, while troubleshooting hardware/software issues and coordinating global IT requests.
THE CHALLENGE:
- Provide daily IT support and troubleshoot technical issues for employees in the Manila office.
- Maintain and support all workstations, including diagnosis, analysis, and resolution of hardware/software issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and application software across departments.
- Manage and resolve Jira tickets for both local (Manila) and global IT requests.
- Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts (Active Directory, RTS, and instant messaging platforms).
- Provide network and printer support.
- Set up and configure workstations for new hires and internal teams.
- Support IT security processes, including password management and antivirus protection.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- At least 1 year of relevant IT support experience.
- Strong knowledge of WAN/LAN, PC troubleshooting, repair, installation, and upgrades.
- Basic experience in system administration, monitoring, documentation, and reporting.
- Strong English communication skills (verbal and written) are a must, as the role provides support to global stakeholders.
- Exposure to Azure, Endpoints, AWS, Active Directory, IP telephony, and CCTV is an advantage.
