ThoughtSpot (TS) Professional Services Organization provides a complete set of services that enable our customers to be successful with putting the power of a thousand analysts in every business person's hands.

Our Engagement Managers (EMs) drive successful implementation services and customer satisfaction within a portfolio of accounts. The EM is in charge of the successful launch of a ThoughtSpot solution by managing all aspects of project delivery, timely deliverables, project staffing in the context of specific engagements.

The goal of the EM is to ensure that the value outlined in the purchase process is achieved, documented, and communicated throughout the engagement.

EM's have the responsibility of understanding a client's desired goals and business objectives, and work with TS architects to craft a solution that meets the client's needs. 

The EM will work cross-functionally with our Architects, Customer Success Managers (CSM), Sales, Pre-Sales Engineers, Support, Delivery Partners, Product Management and Engineering to accomplish their responsibilities

The EM is the customer advisor and project manager for ThoughtSpot implementations and use case deployments providing best practice and coordination of ThoughtSpot resources.

Responsibilities

  • Be the advisor and key point of contact throughout ThoughtSpot deployments to ensure the customer gets to business value as quick as possible
  • Manage overall project lifecycle including project schedule deliverables, timelines, and resourcing for the assigned engagements / accounts
  • Build relationships and champions at the customer, manage key stakeholders, and drive escalations
  • Be the internal lynchpin of coordination between sales, engineering, product, leadership, and support to solve customer issues
  • Help build best practices resources for delivery of Thoughtspot and share amongst TS team members and customers
  • Onboard and train customers and end users on how to use ThoughtSpot
  • Coach the customer on what works best to make ThoughtSpot sticky, drive adoption, and maximise ROI
  • Look out for the best interests of the customer and advocate internally for their needs
  • Assist with identifying and facilitating follow-on opportunities for growth within customer accounts

We are looking for prior consulting experience, a Bachelor’s degree qualification or equivalent, and the following experience:

  • Experience of consulting/solution delivery, managing Data Analytics projects, playing the role of a project manager or engagement manager
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, and coordinate multiple people in order to deliver on customer commitments
  • Experience in delivering business intelligence and analytics products, including the ability to understand of where ThoughtSpot plays in the market, it’s strengths and weaknesses, and how it can bring the most value to our customers
  • Ability to quickly realise the client’s requirements, Data Strategy, Technical Architecture, and Security Environment, as well as the client’s key business imperatives
  • Extensive customer-facing experience and stakeholder management skills
  • High-level knowledge of data warehousing ecosystem (e.g. Data sources / ETL / Data warehouse / Data marts), and basic comprehension of data modelling concepts
