Lead the establishment and continuous improvement of engineering processes and governance framework
Define and optimize end-to-end workflows covering requirement intake, design review, drawing release, and BOM finalization to ensure consistency and standard compliance.
Standardization and modularization implementation
Implement product modular architecture and standardized module libraries to increase design reuse and reduce non-standard design complexity.
Establish and enforce design governance mechanisms
Implement design control systems including version management, design review processes, and error prevention mechanisms to ensure design quality and manufacturability.
Improve engineering delivery efficiency and quality performance
Optimize design cycle time, reduce error rate, and establish measurable KPIs (e.g., BOM accuracy, drawing lead time) through process improvement and modular reuse.
Ensure cross-functional alignment for project feasibility and scalability
Collaborate with Sales, Production, Procurement, and R&D to ensure engineering solutions are feasible for implementation, manufacturing, and scalable delivery.
Enhance team capability in structured and modular engineering design
Develop team competencies in standardization, modular design, and cost-awareness to support long-term capability building.
Manage engineering team operations and performance
Define appropriate KPI and a performance dashboard. Oversee daily team management, task allocation, performance tracking, and resource coordination to ensure efficient execution.
