Enterprise Finance Systems Manager - Zuora

Vimeo is seeking an Enterprise Finance Systems Manager (Zuora) as a member of the Enterprise Finance Operations team to deliver and maintain multiple complex software solutions.  The role is oriented primarily around Zuora Billing and Zuora Revenue with Snowflake and Oracle in the peripheral.  In this role you will play a vital role in enabling our scalability and adoption of best practices to support a world class operation.  

The ideal candidate is a technologist with a high proficiency in translating finance operations problems into solutions by leveraging the capabilities of Zuora as well as other technologies in the ecosystem in which Zuora operates.  The role includes design and implementation of technical solutions based on Zuora APIs, data management and advanced configuration options.  The ideal candidate has a strong desire to realize business value and has experience managing complex implementations and integrations.  The role also entails leveraging strong communication and relationship building skills to identify requirements, craft solutions, and drive user adoption of best practices.

What you’ll do: 

• Configure finance systems, specifically starting with Zuora Billing and Zuora Revenue and Add On products, for example Commissions and Collections tools
• Collaborate with Salesforce, Snowflake and Oracle team members to enhance enterprise capabilities, including CPQ, usage based pricing and data management, revenue recognition, data integrity, complex reporting, controls and metrics
• Identify areas of complexity and opportunity and propose technical solutions
• Design and document functional and technical solutions, including process flows, technical customizations and integrations based on internal customer requirements.  
• Collaborate on several, concurrent projects, which could include requirements gathering, coding and design, testing, coordinating new releases or documenting projects
• Provide the technical expertise on leveraging the Zuora API, Workflows and execute technical integration best practices including guidance and support for ETL and data migration activities
• Review any technical work done by vendors in order to provide guidance, feedback and anticipate issues
• Work with Finance, Audit, and Business Operations team members to ensure proper application of all phases of the systems development life cycle (SDLC), and that appropriate standards are met

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related major
• Experience with technical implementation and technical support of at least one of Zuora Billing or Zuora Revenue product
• Experience in data analysis, conversion and migration, interfaces and reports using Snowflake and Salesforce
• Must have a solid understanding of object oriented technologies to develop software applications and technical skills to execute design
• Must be a strong team player with excellent communication skills at the business and technical level, able to collaborate as part of a team to deliver exceptional results in a rapid paced implementation environment.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities to lead business discussions with stakeholders and architect the value of a solution and the best practices for implementation
• Experience in requirements gathering, use cases documentation, business analysis, systems design and integration, user interface design and implementation
