Enterprise Program Manager, Operations

Hayden AI is looking for an Integrator to report directly to the VP of Operations. They will oversee and lead all functional areas of the business and help the Executive Team position the company for growth and expansion. To be successful in this role, you must be equally able to manage, lead, and get into the weeds when necessary.
The E-Program Manager possesses a general skillset in thinking and being strategic, out-of-the-box mentality yet also loves to manage people, processes, and systems and demonstrates excellent communication skills (both written and verbal). The ideal candidate is a natural leader (through influence) and inspires the team to continuously implement best practices and/or improve their processes. 

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Partners with the VP of Operations on short and long-term business planning with a focus on expanding/stabilizing operations.
  • Filter and translate ideas and organizational vision into the functional plans of the business.
  • Manage major projects, standardize operations, and integrate major functions of the business.
  • Assess current business operations, tools, processes, and make recommendations/implement changes accordingly.
  • Work as the primary agent to remove obstacles and barriers for execution.
  • Managing teams and processes to ensure overall operating effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Be a servanthood leader and lead by example. Be a “roll up the sleeves” type manager and work alongside with the team as this position is both hands-on and strategic in nature.
  • Continuously improving systems and processes to be more efficient, stable, and reliable.
  • Leads, manages, and holds the management and their teams accountable.
  • Demonstrate effective project management and continuous improvement
  • Establish, implement, and maintain effective Program Management to ensure all deliverables are met and all respective programs/projects are on schedule. 
  • Provide the department with leadership to support critical initiatives.
  • Support Quality Organization to Implement methods to inspect, test, and evaluate products to ensure that products adhere to quality standards.

Summary of Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferably in business) or equivalent experience.
  • PMP certification and/or Scrum Master Certification is a plus.
  • Ability to travel and must be able to report to the Oakland, CA office 2-3/week.
  • 7+ years of experience in customer-facing project management with customer-relationship responsibilities.
  • Proven leadership/team management skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development (Growth Mindset approach).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on approach in taking charge of issues and seeing them through to resolution.
  • Experience in Public Transit business or similar industries in autonomous vehicle technology preferred.
  • Ability to operate under deadlines while still meeting standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

Target Salary Range:

  • $150,000 - $170,000 
  • Company granted equity
