Equipment Operator
TLDR
Safely feed and operate lightbulb processing equipment across three feed points to convert waste into recyclables, track throughput, and perform maintenance.
In this role, you’ll be trained to safely feed and operate equipment that processes lightbulbs into recyclable material. You’ll open and empty containers of lightbulbs into three feed points, track and document daily throughput, and perform routine maintenance inspections on the machine. Depending upon daily workflow, you may be assigned to other areas/tasks within the warehouse.
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment such as Tyvek coveralls, protective goggles, hard hat, and respirator
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, squat, grasp, and walk, with or without reasonable accommodation
