Role

Octus is seeking a financial credit analyst for our Pakistan office support the build-out of our financial data offering.

As an individual contributor on a growing team, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing fundamental investment data, including financial statements and legal documentation, for public and private companies across Europe and the US. A key focus of this role is supporting Octus’s ESMA Credit-Level Reporting workflows, where you will apply structured analytical frameworks to extract, interpret, and classify financial and legal data from credit information memoranda, offering memoranda, trustee reports, and related documentation.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in credit or financial statement analysis who is eager to deepen their expertise in structured credit data and regulatory reporting, and to become part of a growing international team serving credit asset managers in Europe and the US.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 year of experience in managing a team
  • 5+ years of experience in credit / financial statement analysis, either within a bank, asset manager or auditor.
  • University degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance.
  • Proactive and self-motivated.
  • Proven ability to operate autonomously and drive local accountability, comfortably managing workflows when direct stakeholders are in distant time zones
  • Strong emotional intelligence with a track record of handling performance coaching, managing peer-to-manager transitions, and maintaining objective fairness within a small team environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills, including the tenacity to resolve issues which may be complex.
  • Keen attention to detail, particularly with regards to the ability to accurately handle data.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines with challenging clients.
  • Strong PC skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Ai usage
