About the role
As a Field Marketing Manager, you will manage and own our pipeline-generating and pipeline-accelerating field programs. Partnering with the Sales and the broader Marketing team, you’ll be the owner of all internally hosted and externally sponsored virtual and in-person events, and not limited to webinars, trade shows, conferences, local and regional events, and other pipeline-generating events. You will align closely with sales to define and scale programs that will drive new business and increase customer expansion.
What you’ll do:
- Own the Events and Field Marketing Strategy in EMEA - work collaboratively across marketing and sales leadership to establish the strategy of our Field Marketing efforts in each region, including goals alignment, channels, and tactics that will drive the agreed upon pipeline and revenue goals
- Own the Field Marketing Calendar - establish the events and field marketing calendar nationally of all priority activities across virtual and live engagements, including sponsored (industry conferences, trade shows)
- Ideate, plan and execute end-to-end event management - manage event execution across both digital and live activations, including management of technology, vendors, and on-site activation for live events
- Drive Demand and Pipeline - drive meaningful opportunity creation and pipeline acceleration with each event / activation in close collaboration with Sales Leadership
- Build Customer Love - engage directly with our customers to bring them into events and amplify their voices on the work they are doing with
If you have some or all of the following, please apply:
- 3+ years of events or field marketing experience in B2B technology sector, ideally SaaS
- Experience with large enterprise buyers (5K+ employees), ideally in HR and Talent
- Experience crafting, implementing, and leading events and field marketing initiatives in support of B2B demand generation and pipeline creation and ability to independently pull reporting on program performance to drive business decision (Experience using Salesforce)
- Deep experience organizing and executing both digital and in-person events (including Trade Shows and Conferences, Executive Roundtables, etc)
- Comfort with a start-up environment that requires agility and the ability to adapt and evolve as needs arise
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to present and sell your ideas, create coalition, and build support
- Ability to run multiple projects, identify risks and opportunities along with outstanding skills to consistently set and meet deadlines, prioritize or re-prioritize, and efficiently engage resources
- Management experience leading both internal resources and external vendors in the execution of events
- Proven track record of managing an enterprise working budget
- Travel for on-site and live events nationally as restrictions open up

At BetterUp, we compensate our employees fairly for their work. Base salary is determined by job-related experience, education/training, residence location, as well as market indicators. The range below is representative of base salary only and does not include equity, sales bonus plans (when applicable) and benefits. This range may be modified in the future.
The base salary range for this role is $93,050 – $157,950.
If you live in New York, the base salary range for this role is:
$105,300 – $157,950 : New York City
$99,100 – $148,650 : Nassau, Newburgh
$93,050 – $139,550 : Albany, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse
