Export Control Compliance Analyst (Contractor)

What You’ll Do

** W-2 contract position through Eastridge MSP**

**No H1-B sponsorship**

As an Export Control Compliance Analyst (Contractor), you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of the team with a high level of independence, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to company policies and procedures

Location: Must be local to San Jose / Bay-Area market: Hybrid, working onsite at our San Jose office/headquarters 3 days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time

  • Experience providing consistent interpretation and guidance of the Export Administration Regulation (EAR) 
  • Coordinate with various teams and assist in export control Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) classification
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) identifications of various projects
  • Assist with export control analysis including, but not limited to, international travel, visitors, deemed exports & shipping
  • Determining licensing exceptions or requirements
  • Serve as a point of contact for advice, resources, education and coordination of export compliance.
  • Ability to interact with R&D labs, business units, marketing, sales personnel to understand technology.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to set and accomplish strategic goals.
  • Critical thinking and excellent problem solving and analysis skills.
  • Capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing with excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information frequently and appropriately.

What You Bring

  • 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Bachelor or AA degree
  • Experience with Export Administration Regulation (EAR) (required)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • You’re inclusive, adapting your style to the situation and diverse global norms of our people.
  • An avid learner, you approach challenges with curiosity and resilience, seeking data to help build understanding.
  • You’re collaborative, building relationships, humbly offering support and openly welcoming approaches.

Individual pay rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location, as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education, and training. Base Pay Range
$25$39 USD
