ROLE:
The Fabric Coordinator is a position within the Raey Production Team, you will support and report into the Production Manager. You will be liaising daily with the Production Team, Distribution Centre and mills to coordinate fabric deliveries. This is a manual and physical role, dealing with heavy fabrics at times.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
-Manage and coordinate the delivery of fabric into the business
- Liaise with mills and freight forwarders to arrange delivery direct to factories or the Raey studio
- Book fabric coming in and out of the business on internal excel spreadsheets and Zedonk
- QC a percentage of bulk fabric, raise any issues with team and mills
- Allocate all fabric ready to be sent out to factories
- Constantly communicate with all Production Coordinators on deliveries expected into the business
- Manage regular stock takes
- Create and maintain fabric cards for stock control of our internal fabric library
- Coordinate with our Distribution Centre to manage stock inventory
- Raise fabric PO’s on Zedonk and update fabric tracker spreadsheet with relevant info
- Keep all trackers updated
- Manage all fabric returned from factories, measuring and checking back into internal fabric stock inventory
ABOUT YOU:
- Experience working with fabrics ideal but not essential
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Good knowledge of using Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience in Zedonk is an advantage
- Key team player
- Highly organised and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
