Summary of Role:
SunPower is seeking a Field Service Project Manager to assist with large-scale solar service programs. This role will maximize efficiency in the implementation of detailed project plans, tasks, deliverables, and schedules. They are responsible for the quality of work and ensure compliance with SunPower terms, technical specifications, quality, safety standards, and SunPower's internal processes.
The Field Service Project Manager reports to the Program Partner Manager and will be responsible for completing projects in a manner that exceeds our customers’ expectations and delivers every project as projected while ensuring that our subcontractor's work adheres to all company safety policies and OSHA-mandated requirements.
*Depending on the location of the successful candidate, this role may be filled remotely in California or Arizona.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Be able to communicate with customers and subcontractors effectively and succinctly
- Responsible for ensuring 100% customer satisfaction on the assigned projects
- Responsible for coordinating with AHJ, customers, and subcontractors to obtain required information as needed for remediation projects
- Responsible for managing project administration and daily operations through salesforce to ensure all customer cases and closeout documents are completed in a timely manner
- Logs all customer transactions and interactions in our CRM System and follows up on assigned cases until resolution is confirmed
- Leverages knowledge of system delivery milestones to capture reduced costs wherever possible
- Responsible for effective oversight of multiple subcontractors
- Responsible for researching historical data on various projects within the internal databases
- Responsible for reviewing subcontractor deliverables, providing feedback for improvement, and requesting additional information as needed
- Collaborates with internal teams to prepare, review, and monitor information and reports related to all information involved in each project.
- Additional ad-hoc projects as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School or Trade School degree in a discipline related to construction or building sciences
- Familiarity with construction and electrical codes
- Proven ability to successfully monitor and assess subcontracted construction functions such as solar/electrical contractors and commercial roofers
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and MS Project
- Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment screens
- Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or 2 - 5 years of project management experience
- Strong technical and project management skills based on solar industry experience
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Well-developed and professional interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization, as well as outside customers and vendors
- Ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focus
- Organizational skills needed to manage time, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple deadlines
- Knowledge of Salesforce/CRM, business intelligence platforms
Pay Range
$63,360 - $114,048*
