Finance Analyst - France

About The Opportunity

We are currently looking for an Analyst supporting the France market to join our Finance Business Partner team. In this role, you will be a core team member providing financial and analytical support to your in-country business partners and Finance leadership team. This role is hybrid, partially will be based out of our Paris office and will report to the Associate Director, Head of Finance for France, Italy & Spain.

Qualifications:

• A university degree with a focus on finance, accounting, or a comparable degree as well as 1-3 years of professional experience
• Ability to speak English and French fluently
• Advanced skill in Excel
• Experience with manipulating and presenting large data sets in a clear and concise format
• Proven experience within financial planning
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience in working in a fast-paced organization within e-commerce/retail operations/start-up environment
• Commercial acumen and a strong communicator with the ability to communicate to finance and non-finance colleagues
• An energetic team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude

Responsibilities:

• Being a trusted Business Partner for the operational parts of the business (including areas such as Country Leadership, Operations, Real Estate & Special Projects) for France
• Provide commercial analysis and insight to help deliver company strategy
• Support and drive the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring timely submission and quality output
• Producing monthly reporting to the business on financial performance, OPEX & CAPEX to track and identify deviation from the budget as well as understanding the drivers of these variances
• Produce weekly cash flow reporting and forecasting to drive financial control within the business
• Building financial models to link operational KPIs to financial metrics to enable decision making
• Ad-hoc business projects/ analysis
