Finance Specialist
TLDR

- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to enable informed strategic and operational decision-making.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, payments, and collections with accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations for internal stakeholders and clients.
- Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring consistency, reconciliation of discrepancies, and compliance with accounting standards.
- Monitor cash flow performance and support recommendations to improve financial efficiency and stability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project budgets, expense tracking, and financial planning.
- Assist with tax filings, statutory reporting, financial statements, and audit-related requirements.
- Contribute to the improvement of financial systems, workflows, and operational processes.
- Liaise with vendors, clients, and auditors to ensure smooth financial operations and documentation flow.
- 1–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis, ideally within a marketing, media, or service-based agency.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting tools such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
- Solid understanding of core accounting principles including AP, AR, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear and professional communicator, comfortable working with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Exposure to or understanding of advertising, media, or digital agency financial operations is a plus.
- Proactive, reliable, and comfortable working under deadlines with a strong sense of ownership.
