Spreetail is hiring a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager who will lead all financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, planning, and optimization for Technology, People & Culture (HR), and all other SG&A. This leader will oversee, build, and scale a finance team focused on planning, forecast, and reporting/performance management for all overhead and structural cost across Spreetail, including project ROI and prioritization, payroll/initiative planning, process management for budgets and long-term plans, creation of and management of governance standards, and executive/C-Suite business insight preparation. This team will support both day-to-day finance reporting, and long-term/strategic projects. As our business continues our ‘hyper-growth’, strong financial acumen and leadership in this space will ensure we are correctly prioritizing our investments and providing leadership the visibility and insights needed to run the business.
How you will achieve success:
- Operate and become known as a trusted advisor to C-Suite leadership and Finance leadership, including the Chief Technology Officer and the Chief People Officer; work closely across finance teams to create/deliver process, implement improved controls/governance, consolidate functional finance data/insights, and generate insightful and actionable finance performance management at the enterprise level.
- Lead SG&A optimization and initiative prioritization across all our functions by closely collaborating with both Finance and Business Partners.
- Lead the creation of compelling and insightful daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance management; including automated dashboards/summaries, executive-level insights, and accountability across functions for achieving plan and forecast; further develop clear/simple KPIs to evaluate the success of the business.
- Lead & consolidate variance analysis, flux reporting, and commercial insights into what did happen and what will happen; understand and incorporate driver-based analyses.
- Define business processes and execute recommended improvements that withstand the variability inherent to the business; drive issue resolution cross-functionally to achieve results.
What experiences will help you in this role:
- Prior enterprise/corporate FP&A experience, including developing business revenue and expense projections and consolidation of large/complex financials (ecommerce and/or retail finance preferred).
- 3-5+ years in business/finance/accounting field; 1+ years leading teams or projects preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience utilizing advanced financial concepts required.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and visual).
- Demonstrated experience successfully leading projects; experience managing teams preferred.
