We have another amazing opportunity for Flash Animators in Vancouver!
STAR TREK : LOWER DECKS - Season 2 is looking for experienced and enthusiastic full-time Flash ANIMATORS, to join our team on this exclusive 2D Adult Animated television series!
About the Show:
This is an incredible opportunity to be a part of one of our most exciting Prime Time series:
STAR TREK - LOWER DECKS, Season 2!
We are making 10 X 22’ episodes for CBS - and we’d be tickled if you’d join us!
Start Date: 11/30/20 or 12/14/20
End Date: May 2021
Location: Vancouver, BC (*We are currently working REMOTELY)
Terms:(Full-time, Fixed term Contract) - Canadians & Canadian-PR holders Preferred
Responsibilities/Duties:
-Work under the direction of the Animation Directors to create high quality hand-drawn animated roughs by adapting the board, improving it when necessary and finding strong storytelling poses.
-Match your animation with the rest of the sequence, background perspective and ground plane and draw characters in proportion
-Work within production deadlines to meet assigned weekly quotas and expectations
-Work collaboratively in a team environment
Qualifications:
-You have previous experience as an Animator on a 2D series (Flash or Harmony)
-You have a Degree/Diploma from a recognized animation school
-You are self-motivated with demonstrated initiative
-You have strong experience with creating poses using Flash character builds
-Strong sense of acting, staging, posing, timing, and the ability to stay on model
-Ability to multi-task and prioritize
-Ability to communicate in a professional and positive manner
Location:
All roles are ‘currently’ working remotely; in a Post-covid world, we’d love to have you in-house in our rad Vancouver studio.
