About the Role
Our client, a digital content media production company providing visual services to clients in a public relations firm is seeking to hire a freelance sound engineer for a single job project. This project involves recording a focus group session featuring 8 to 15 participants in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and test all necessary audio recording equipment prior to the focus group session.
- Ensure proper placement and positioning of microphones to capture clear audio from all participants.
- Monitor and adjust audio levels throughout the recording session to maintain optimal sound quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues or equipment malfunctions promptly.
Requirements
- Junior to senior level experience as a sound engineer, with a strong understanding of audio recording techniques and equipment.
- Proficiency in operating various audio recording devices, mixers, and microphones.
- Familiarity with sound editing software and post-production processes (if required).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to address any technical challenges.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure high-quality audio capture.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet project deadlines.
