Frontend Software Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop great client side UI, with a focus on clean, modular code.
• Mentor team members on best practices
• Researching new technologies and adapting them to BrowserStack requirements
• Own and commit to all your work, and be accountable for your results
• Push limits of product innovation using the latest advancements in technology and methods - working closely with product managers, designers and other engineering teams
• Participate in a culture of code reviews, writing tech specs, and collaborating closely with other people (no lone wolves)
• Produce high quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration
• Using and understanding code from Open Source

Requirements

• Good experience in CSS, Javascript, and a good understanding of current state of the art in the above technologies
• Exposure to atleast one of these web related technologies such as React, Preact, Redux, RxJS, Angular, ES6, Webpack and Gulp
• Ability to work with cross-functional team members like designers, product managers and analytics
• Experience with web infrastructure, and understanding of building scalable web applications using frameworks like Ruby on Rails and Node.js is a huge plus
• Ability to rapidly iterate on product/platform features
• Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills
• Startup mentality, high willingness to learn, and hardworking
• Experience 1+ years
