Full-stack Software Engineer - Hospitality (Remote, Canada)

We’re hoping that you, a Full-stack Software Engineer with both back-end and front-end experience, can help us build even more engaging products for our restaurant customers. You’ll work closely with our frontend and backend teams, collaborate with our product managers, designers, and delivery managers, and coordinate your work with other engineering and infrastructure teams.

In this role, you will:

  • Stand up new microservices from scratch to drive product initiatives
  • Improve our existing applications using your technical experience and creativity
  • Gather requirements for new projects by working closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers
  • Deliver impactful initiatives that improve the lives of restaurateurs
  • Monitor the health of our infrastructure and products

  • You value testing as a way to ensure reliable operation
  • You see communication as the cornerstone of building sustainable applications
  • You have 2+ years of programming experience with a modern object-oriented language such as Java, and/or C#
  • You have 2+ years of proven experience with at least one modern front-end framework, preferably React
  • You have worked with SQL and Document databases
  • You have experience building performant and scalable RESTful APIs
  • You follow good coding practices such as SOLID, TDD, and Dependency Injection
