Global Commercialization Specialist
Location: Leuven
Purpose of the Job:
• Manage key global R&D projects from concept to post-launch to ensure the solutions are developed and implemented on time, with the right quality and at the right cost. Projects will typically have medium to high complexity, will have global application and will involve disruptive technologies
• Plan and lead the deployment of key global innovations across the different markets and ensure the developed solutions correctly address the business needs of the company
• Ensure the right project management tools are used following the ABI Agile way of working
• Ensure project communication through all Global and Zone stakeholders (Marketing, Procurement, logistics, Operations, etc.). Act as single point of contact between the commercial and technical teams.
• Translate complex R&D Concepts into commercial strategy (Fit to Consumer Problem) & Metrics (business cases, scenario planning, Capex and Opex estimations, P&Ls)
• Work in strong collaboration with the Zone counterparts, Knowledge Centers and COEs to ensure the application of the right project management tools to meet pre-defined success criteria
• Identify and solve impediments in the Product portfolio
Accountabilities:
• Accountable for the application of the ABI Agile Project Management methodology on global and zone projects
• Accountable for the application of the right project management approach and tools to ensure proper project planning, time and cost management, communication, risk identification and mitigation plan is met as well as setting clear RACI and R&Rs to ensure the projects meet the success criteria
• Lead the project approval flows from project conception to the implementation in multiple sites at Global and Zone levels
• Define the framework and support on the execution of strategic long-term plans, 1Y, 3Y plans in collaboration with the Global and Zones’ Teams.
• Responsible to communicate relevant project information and project progress to team members, project stakeholders and other key individuals within the organization. Deliver monthly reports, in collaboration with the team
• Responsible to ensure flawless implementation and post-launch appraisal of the products launched in the market
• Identify best practices (internal and external), share and propose ideas, test, implement and standardize them in order to maximize company benefit
• Leverage an established network within the organization and throughout the supplier and related industry communities
Requirements:
• University technical degree or equivalent (Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Food & Beverage Science & Technology or equivalent). Advanced University degrees and / or MBA are assets
• Min 3 years industry experience with Project Management. Financial Performance Management (PPM) or equivalent desired
• Very strong project management expertise. Strong communication, presentation skills, negotiation skills, high impact and influence
• Critical thinking, ability to challenge and give feedback
• Able to work in various markets, product categories, and across multiple functions at senior levels to manage complexity, synthesize consumer insights and validate business opportunities
• Results oriented with respect to quality, costs, time
• Strong team player, able to work in a diverse, multi-cultural environment and according to ABI way of working
• Speed, flexibility, able to react quickly to scope changes and strong commitment to deadlines, demonstrating a fact-based structured approach with high sense of urgency
• Strong fluency in English. Other language skills constitute an asset
• Ready to travel (1 week/month) outside of home country
• Expert on Microsoft Office applications (excel, word, PowerPoint, MS Project)
• Strong background on SCRUM methodology & Traditional PMI Methodology. Formal Certification constitute an asset
