ICEYE is building and operating its own commercial constellation of small Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellites with SAR data available to customers. Our satellites acquire images of Earth at any time – even when it’s cloudy or dark – providing commercial and government partners with unmatched persistent monitoring capabilities. Information derived from our SAR images helps customers make data-driven decisions to address time-critical challenges in various sectors, such as maritime, disaster management, insurance, and finance.
We launched the world’s first small SAR satellite in January 2018. To date, ICEYE has successfully launched a total of 10 SAR satellite missions and has raised $152M in financing. We don’t plan to stop - join our team and let’s achieve great things together!

Our Global Head of Sales (ICEYE Solutions) will drive the democratization of the data produced by our satellites and many other sensors, into the insurance industry globally. Our initial area of focus is natural catastrophe use cases as they relate to both the insurance industry and the government sector. The work we do helps families when they are most in need and will eventually save lives.
As the insurance industry continues modernizing through digitization, it faces challenges with lack of data and know-how; your role will help them close this gap. You will work closely with the VP of Solutions, your Account Executive Team, and our Strategic Account Management Teams to achieve our client acquisition and growth goals.
This role is ideally based in Helsinki, London or on the East Coast of the US.
Responsibilities:
- Own revenue growth from new business – and the forecasting thereof.
- Recruit, lead, and inspire talented and ambitious Account Executives.
- Perform quality control on all sales opportunities in the Solutions organization, including the upsell opportunities run by the practice areas.
- Ensure appropriate sales discipline across the entire organization – from prospect identification through to client expansion.
- Oversee the SalesOps function.
- Own the Solutions organization’s sales forecast.
- Support the executive leadership team with the development and refinement of offerings and go-to-market strategies that drive profitable growth.
- Partner with the demand-generation function to ensure the pipeline of new business is sufficient to achieve plan.
- Partner with the Account Management team to ensure the up-sell pipeline is sufficient, robust and appropriately qualified.
- Support the sales efforts of both the Account Executives and Strategic Account Managers.
- Own and develop the organization’s the sales methodology
Your attributes:
- Complex client acquisition (7 to 10 years)
- Strong understanding of the insurance ecosystem (7 to 10 years)
- Experience building and managing sales focused teams (5 to 10 years)
- Impeccable communication and organizational skills.
Extra Credit Attributes:
- Existing relationships within the insurance ecosystem.
- Experience with property insurance, natural catastrophe, and the claims function.
- Entrepreneurial drive and spirit.
