What we are looking for
Media is the largest proportion of our revenue and we recognize an opportunity to accelerate growth, particularly in NAM. Our mission is to make a step change in the size of accounts we hold and to become AOR for more clients. This is a new and exciting role within the TMP organization to help us achieve that ambition, with the responsibility to secure, design, resource and manage a highly effective media & performance function within the group that will deliver everything from media & performance strategy, design, activation to reporting on our client’s media investments. This role will ultimately be the custodian of our client’s media strategies and budgets and will be the source of excellence and responsible for the long-term development of the media capability
This role is a leadership role within the media function and will oversee the full adoption and implementation of TMP’s client-centered approach within the media function of the group, with a focus on top strategic clients. The successful candidate will be required to actively participate in new business pitch work, inclusive of representing media services in actual in-room client presentations. There will be a significant focus on collaborating with client teams and marketing to transform the reputation and awareness of TMP to support winning more AORs. In addition, the role will require key stakeholder relationship management across other TMP functions (Client Services, Creative, Strategy, Product, etc.) and the development of joint business plans that align with TMP’s client-centered multi-solution approach.

What you will do
The responsibility of the role ultimately is to deliver client value and growth outcomes from our media work, with a focus on expanding our media services to achieve our ambitious goals.
- Oversee media strategy and ensure a best-in-class work product supporting the TMP “growth agency” value proposition and client-centered approach
- Standardize briefing, planning & optimization processes by applying a curious and commercial approach
- Support regional leads in recruiting, hiring, and career-pathing of next-generation media leaders
- Act as Media SME in new pitches and for current clients
- Contribute to product and capability development, as well as overall value proposition and acquisition strategy
- Develop unique media solutions jointly with key media partners.
- Manage relationships with key B2B publishers and media platforms
- Work with TMP functional leadership to ensure media & performance function supports broader group client expansion efforts
- Support clients from other parts of the group in need of media expertise - and also support efforts to bring wider group services into media clients
- Develop a team of current & future leaders in specific areas such as media strategy, search, programmatic and social media
- Partnering with the product team to enhance our internal platforms & solutions to increase client consumption and value creation
- Maintain YoY growth based on company goals within the function in both revenue and margin-based metrics
- Leadership of our global media function
Who you are
Qualifications include:
- 10+ years of experience in digital media agencies, with a focus on media planning & buying, B2B experience required
- Experience managing diverse teams in multiple locations/global experience
- Data-driven, performance media experience is required
- Programmatic, paid social, and direct publisher planning and buying experience required.
- An entrepreneurial spirit, desire to "move the dial", a self-starter, and thinks outside of the box
- Works effectively in a fast-paced, energetic team environment
- A history of securing, managing, and growing client accounts with spends of $10M+
- Existing established relationships in B2B publishers and media platforms
- Experience or knowledge in the evaluation of and recommendations around desired tech stack
- Willingness to travel 30-40%
